Jack Ryan, Jr., is going out on an ordinary audit. Hendley and Associates, the investment firm that acts as cover for The Campus is looking to invest in a German company. Along for the ride is David Kraft, a back office employee who will help run numbers but is mostly useful to help carry Jack's bags. But all isn't what it seems. Kraft has a secret past. One that may be very much closer to the surface than it first appears, and one that has put both men in terrible danger.
