The book "Linnaean Lessons. Inspiration for Knowledge" is part of av the Linnaean Lessons serie. Using Linnaeus´s life and work and the time in which he lived as a starting point, it invites you to think about our own time and the future - and like Linnaeus, to make your own observations. You meet Linnaeus in an narrative section at the beginning of each chapter, and this is followed by short and more detailed factual texts.
the Linnaean Lessons serie is one part of the Linnaeus School Project which is aimed to all schools in Sweden to inspire and contribute good ideas that can be used in interdisciplinary work in which the natural sciences form part of a broad context. The organisers of the project are the National Linnaeus Commission, The Swedish National Agency for School Improvement and Swedish Centre for School Biology and Biotechnology.
