Anja Folkesson (born on May 29, 1947) is a retired export and management secretary, translator and language teacher. 

Anja was born and educated in Tampere, Finland, and has additional studies in Sweden (business languages, administration, economics and pedagogy).

Anja is married to a Swede since 1969 and lives in Sweden. The couple has a daughter and a son. 

Russia's war against Ukraine made me begin to write this novel. There are many similarities to how The Winter War started in 1939 against Finland. When my generation has gone, there is nobody to tell this important story to the younger ones. Being a teacher I want to "educate" to my last breath.
